Smith Cogeneration is developing a residual fuel-fired combustion turbine peaking facility for the needs of the regional electrical authority, Hubei Power Company. Recently the Hubei Power Company has considered an enlarged project of up to 500 MW in response to the planned availability of natural gas as fuel.
